Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster
Salary: £14.25 per hour / £26,626 annual equivalent 
Hours: 36 hours per week, on a 2-week rolling rota (including alternative weekends). Flexible shifts ideally between 8 am and 5 pm.
Contract Type: Permanent

About the Role:
Evermore Care is seeking an experienced Domestic/Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Ashton Manor, a luxury care home in Lancaster. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing the housekeeping team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Your duties will include managing cleaning schedules, overseeing laundry services, and ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the home.
• Manage, train, and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and procedures are followed.
• Monitor equipment and stock, reporting any issues or shortages.
• Work with the maintenance team to address any damages or repairs.
• Conduct regular audits of cleaning standards and staff performance.
• Hold staff meetings and monitor the completion of assigned tasks.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior management experience in housekeeping, preferably within a care or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH, and infection control protocols.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining superior cleaning standards.
