Day Care Assistant
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.45 per hour + Overtime £14.95 per hour
Annual Salary: £26,926 per year
Hours: 38.5 hours per week, 8am - 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role:
Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistants to join the team at Astley View, our new, state-of-the-art care home in Chorley. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
