Housekeeper (Part Time - Days)

Housekeeper - Part Time Days - 6m FTC (with a view to extend)
Location: Ashton Manor, Scotforth Road, Lancaster
Hourly Pay: £13.45 
Hours: Part Time 09:30-13:30, Days Only, 14 hours per week averaged over a 2-week rolling rota.

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Do you want to work within a luxury care provider? Evermore Care are currently looking for passionate and dedicated Housekeeper to join our beautiful care home, Ashton Manor in Lancaster, on an initial fixed term for a period of 6-months to cover an internal secondment. 

We are looking for a dedicated housekeeper who wants to ensure that the health and safety of the staff and residents are at the forefront of every decision made. We are looking for someone who has an exceptional eye for detail and a high standard when it comes to keeping the service clean as well as adhering to guidelines and schedules.

We are looking for a practical person, who can think on their feet and respond quickly, keeping the residents rooms, communal areas including the office, dining rooms and hallways clean, tidy and in a good condition!

Experience:

• Knowledge and experience of working within a care home
• Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team
• Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks

Main Responsibilities

• To ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard in compliance with specific cleaning guidelines and schedules and that they effectively meet the service needs
• To check all areas of the service are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the Head Housekeeper of any shortages
• To identity and report damages, faults, and other related issues to the Head Housekeeper and maintenance department
